Today I had a rather unfortunate incident involving fake tan, which may or may not have resulted in a hideously unattractive, tiger-like pattern down my arms... Needless to say, I have kept my jacket on all day.
I went to the bank and put in some more money, hoping my account balance will go up before the accommodation people take £200 out for a deposit and the cheque bounces. That would be a rather bad, and not to say embarrassing, start to university. I've also discovered that my sad, sad life appears to be pretty full this week, which is just my luck as this is the one week work decide to give me more hours that I've been asking for since the start of summer. Ace.
On the plus side, my parents have joined forces and I now have a shiny new laptop on it's way! And Sally says that even if the cheque bounces I'll still get my accommodation, they'll just ring and ask for another cheque, and hopefully work will have me in next week, so everything's pretty good really. Even the fake tan, although orange, has make my arms super smooth!
